Where our numbers come from

Every specific statistic on this site comes from a named public source, cited on the page where it appears. Our primary sources include state insurance regulators such as the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (FLOIR), the Insurance Research Council, state statutes, and established industry datasets. If we can't attribute a number, we don't publish it.

What we never do

• We never publish invented statistics, savings claims, or averages.
• We never publish fabricated customer testimonials or reviews.
• We never present ourselves as an insurance company, agency, or advisor — we are a comparison and marketing service.

Freshness

"Last updated" dates on our pages are real. Insurance rates and regulations change; when a source publishes new data, we update the page or remove the outdated claim.

Advertising vs. editorial

Partners compensate us as described on How We Make Money. Compensation can affect which partners appear and in what order — it does not change the facts we publish, and partners do not review or approve our editorial content.

Corrections

Spotted an error? Tell us via the contact page and we'll review it promptly. If we got something wrong, we'll fix the page and note the correction.
