ShowMyRatesis a comparison and marketing service that helps consumers request car insurance quotes from third-party insurance companies, agencies, and their representatives ("insurance partners"). We are not an insurance company, agency, or advisor. By using our site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you request quotes through our forms, we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code and address, date of birth, and details about your insurance profile — such as your vehicle, current insurance status, driving history, and the coverage you are looking for. You are never required to submit a form to browse our site.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers automatically collect usage information when you visit — such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and interactions with our forms. We collect this through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including analytics and advertising tools such as Google and Meta pixels. These tools may set their own cookies and collect information subject to their own privacy policies.

2. How We Use Your Information

Matching you with insurance partners. The core purpose of our service: when you submit a quote request, we use the information you provide to match you with insurance partners who can quote coverage for your profile, and — with the consent you give at form submission — we share that information with the matched partners so they can contact you and deliver quotes.
Operating the service. To run, maintain, secure, and improve our website and forms, respond to your requests, and prevent fraud and abuse.
Analytics and advertising. To understand how visitors use our site and to measure and improve our marketing, including through the analytics and advertising technologies described above.
Legal compliance. To comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Use.

3. How We Share Information

Matched insurance partners. When you submit a quote request and provide consent, we share your submitted information with the insurance companies, agencies, and representatives matched to your request so they can contact you with quotes. Once shared, their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.
Service providers. Vendors that help us operate — such as hosting, analytics, form processing, communications, and lead-verification providers — under obligations to use the information only to provide services to us.
Legal and safety. When required by law, legal process, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of our service, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Consent to Be Contacted (TCPA Notice)

When you submit a quote request form on our site, you provide your prior express written consent for the insurance partners matched to your request (and parties calling on their behalf) to contact you about insurance quotes and related offers at the phone number and email address you provided — including by phone call, text message, and email, and including through automated technology or prerecorded messages where permitted. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, and message and data rates may apply. You can decline to submit a form and still browse our site, and you can revoke consent with any individual partner by following their opt-out instructions or telling them directly.

5. Your Choices

Email opt-out. You can opt out of marketing emails from us at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message or by emailing support@showmyrates.com.
Do not sell or share my personal information. Sharing your information with matched insurance partners in exchange for compensation may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some state privacy laws. To request that we not sell or share your personal information, email support@showmyrates.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share."
Cookies and advertising controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings. You can also use the opt-out tools offered by advertising providers (for example, Google and Meta ad settings) to limit personalized advertising.

6. State Privacy Rights

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy — including matching you with partners, recordkeeping, compliance, and dispute resolution — and then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us information, contact us at support@showmyrates.com and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
